The moment you take the first step, change begins.
This is not simply a place to learn techniques.
It is a dojo where you train yourself through courtesy and focus, movement and breath.
Impossible! It is nothing.
Training and Practice Strength is not something you are born with — it is built through consistent repetition. It’s okay if you’re not fast.
What matters is that you keep moving forward without stopping.
Tireless stamina
Stable sense of balance
Improved physical health
Soft, flexible movement
Growth Record
Movements that were difficult at first become natural through repeated practice, and you feel your own progress firsthand.
What matters is not comparing yourself to others, but seeing yourself grow one step further than yesterday.
Physical Conditioning
We use a variety of movements to improve basic fitness and endurance, training both body balance and lasting stamina together.
Consistent physical conditioning is the foundation for powerful movement and a healthy body.
Strength Training
Repeated basic training and physical conditioning
make the body stronger and improve the precision of your technique.
Through consistent training, build powerful strength and unshakable confidence.
Personalized Instruction
Everyone’s training goals and pace of growth are different.
At the dojo, we provide systematic, personalized instruction tailored to each person’s fitness, experience, and training goals.
What is Jeju Oseung Dojo?
Jeju Oseung Dojo is a dedicated Aikido and classical swordsmanship (koryu) dojo that has been operating since 2004.
We have produced many black belt holders to date, including senior practitioners with International Aikido 5th dan and above, and we are a distinguished dojo that has produced numerous holders of the Katori Shinto-ryu teaching license, which is known to be difficult to earn.
You can experience swordsmanship, jujutsu, and aiki, and learn them easily and enjoyably.

What is Jeju Oseung Dojo?
Training Disciplines
Classical Swordsmanship
We teach Katori Shinto-ryu.
Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto-ryu is a traditional Japanese koryu martial art with a long history, centered on swordsmanship and encompassing a wide range of martial disciplines.
Aikido
It is a martial art that does not confront force with force, but instead understands and harmonizes with your opponent’s movement and flow.
Through soft, flowing movement
you train balance and center, breath and focus together, building stability of body and mind.
Aikido is not simply a fighting technique — it is a process of learning to master yourself and respect your opponent.
Aiki
Aiki does not mean force clashing against force — it refers to the principle of harmonizing with an opponent’s movement and flow to naturally control them. Training in aiki is a process of learning strength through softness.
Rather than forcing power, you come to understand the body’s connections and balance, developing natural technique.
